Originally designed for pilots and aircrews, the Breitling Emergency has a built in transmitter that broadcasts on the aircraft emergency frequency. Following a emergency situation, the watch will broadcast a signal that rescuers can home in to. The emergency transmitter is activated by unscrewing a protective cap and pulling out the antenna. This Breitling Emergency is in mint condition and has returned from servicing with Breitling UK in March 2017. The watch is supplied with the original Breitling bakelite case and presentation box, instruction manual and DVD , chronometer certificate, antenna tester, 2x service warranty cards dating from 2014 and 2017 and the original purchase receipt.
