I bought a useum watch from the shop as an upgrade to an earlier ESQ I purchased from them a few years ago. The watch was great until one day when it stopped working. When I went to wind it the crown snapped off, as the shop refused to take it in for service I went to a repair shop in the city. The repair was estimated to cost more than the watch itself as it needed a complete overhaul, most likely the result of sitting around collecting dust for a long period of time. This watch was only 7 months old! After arguing with customer service theshop agreed to take it in for a look, but upon receipt held to their line that they don't repair anything outside the watch. I get that the crown might be a separate issue but the watch itself needed a complete overhaul, clearly the quality of product they carry is inferior and you're better off buying full retail knowing that you have the uarantee as security. In some cases it might be worth the risk but it definitely was not for me.

I went to Fred meyer jewelers and bought a citizen watch. It was obviously perfect because it was new from a retailer like that. I paid 185$ which was down from 275$ en when I came home I saw it online for 130$ from theshop, so I immediately ordered it there and once I got it, it was identical to the watch from Fred welers just 55$ less. Came in original box with tags and manuals and everything! I will buy any future watch here. Thank you very much theshop!
