J8119944A few notes after dealing with their customer services.1. theshop return policy is a joke. I did not spend the time to read return policy given that the website misleadingly advertise 100% refund, and I did not think of any reason to return the items because they were gifts and those people wouldn't be returning. However, there was a reason for doing this: theshop shipped out the item more than a week after I needed the item. I of course called theshop before all this happened to inquire about the order status and they said the item would be shipped out the next day. NOT. By the time I got the item, it was way way too late. And during that time, they did not notify me of any delay, and I even thought that they cancelled the item without telling me because the charge to my credit card was spending for about a week.When you ask for return, you will have to fill out a long list of items before you can return it and in the email/letter, theshop will tell you that they may charge you for whatever reasons whatsoever if they feel like to do so. I say it is 100% up to them because, you won't get to see what may have happened or any legit reasons why they think they need to deduct. The item will be at their hands and under their full control once I ship the item out.2. Customer service is a joke. When I was ordering a Cartier watch and inquired about price match, they told me that they would do, and asked me to call a direct number the next day. When I called, the representative did not respond. After calling the number multiple times (thought she was just busy), I ended up calling the official number and learned that she took the day off even though she explicitly told me to call her the next day because it was almost 5pm when she emailed me. Haha. 3. Don't expect your item will come in pristine conditions because out of 4 items I recently purchased, all four of them had damaged boxes. I wonder if this is one way they keep their costs down by getting worse QA/QC products for lower costs from the vendors in the first place.Based on my horrible experiences, I don't recommend. Think again. You are buying items that will likely need some services down the line. I can't imagine what ordeals I will have to go through if the watch needs their "exclusive" "theshop 2 year warranty" services. Better pay extra and go with AD or don't ever expect you will be 100% satisfied.Oh and one thing you will notice is that theshop has been giving thumbs up to all the 4+ ratings with positive feedback. If anything this shows how terrible they are or how they treat their customers. theshop, if a customer who had a bad experience with you decides to write about his/her circumstances for others to read including YOU, you should listen, and give him/her a thumbs up. After all, that thumbs up means "helpful" in this website. Well, it is what it is.
