I bought a $500 Hamilton watch for my dad for Christmas, and the metal fastener broke within a couple uses (the bracelet part would not fasten). I tried to get a exchange, but they would not exchange it with the plastic wrapping missing (the plastic that you of COURSE take off before you can wear it), and then I asked for a repair, but they said their warranty didn't cover the band. Ridiculous. I will buy from Hamilton directly next time.
