I bought a Citizen Skyhawk AT (JY0005-50E) from theshop.com in 015. The price was the best I could find from online and physical stores. The purchase was easy and theshop let me know when my order shipped. The watch arrived on time and in perfect condition with the box and papers. I only contacted theshop once (via email) and a nice gentleman named Leo replied the next day. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out before you buy from anyone else.

I was shopping on amazon during their big prime day, and this site beat their pricing! It was fast, and the easy! Will definitely be shopping here again!

I ordered an expensive watch at an excellent discount. It is an automatic winding mechanism and needs to be worn to see how it keeps time. The instructions from theshop state that "if a watch is worn, it becomes non-returnable." I tried moving the watch and it would run for a couple of hours. I decided to wear it for 2 days and it stopped working 8 times. I tried contacting Customer Service and either was placed on a "Very Lengthy Hold" or the phone system stated to call back at a later time. This went on for 2 days. Needless to say, I was beginning to think this was not how an on-line retailer should be doing business.I finally got thru to Customer Service and they said I couldn't return it as new, since I wore it. I told them it did not work from the beginning. They would not replace it with a new watch which is what I wanted, they would only put it in to be fixed.I then wrote a letter to theshop, requested a return, and asked for a new replacement.I called them a few days later with a different phone number I found after they received the defective watch, and spoke with someone else in Customer Service who checked and said they had shipped another watch. When I received the replacement I wore it for 3 days and it has worked well ever since.I have purchased 4 watches from theshop in the past and this is the first time I have had these types of problems. They are usually quick to ship your order and the quality and service is excellent. I hope next time if there is a problem, they instruct Customer Service to listen to the Customer and not just say No.
